PINGS is a diverse community, attracting golf enthusiasts of various skill levels. One key aspect is our ability to access different courses at reasonable rates, fostering connections among those who share the same passion.

 

Ensuring satisfaction for all types of golfers is crucial. From those seeking a championship atmosphere to those working on improving their handicap, we strive to accommodate everyone.

 

A paramount concern for all of us is to mitigate slow play. While some may complain, it's essential to recognize the shared responsibility. When embarking on trips to places like West Cliffs or Montado, arriving early, playing for around four hours, and participating in prize-giving showcases respect and courtesy. A slight delay should not be a cause for concern, considering the overall time spent.

 

PINGS thrives on maintaining a friendly atmosphere, where everyone can relish their golfing experience and camaraderie.

 

We welcome any suggestions to combat slow play, drawing on the valuable experiences of members from previous clubs.

 

In closing, I'd like to emphasize the need for a dedicated committee to oversee competition organization, fiscal requirements, and compliance with Portuguese Golf Federation regulations. As we bid farewell to pillars Diane, Dieter, and António, irreplaceable in their roles, new committee members are stepping in to maintain our standard of excellence.

 

To ensure the continued success of PINGS, we encourage members to consider offering their assistance, either by joining the committee or taking on specific responsibilities during prize-giving ceremonies.
